Cultural Items
The Embassy of Japan in Malta offers lending of cultural items for non-profit events or purposes by schools, non-profit organisations and individuals.To request an item loan, please fill in the Application Form
and email the completed form to culture@ve.mofa.go.jp.Guidelines and conditions for borrowing cultural items
- Items are loaned free of charge
- The maximum loan period is 14 days.
- All items borrowed must be returned promptly.
- Japanese cultural items shall be in use for the proper Japanese culture's introduction and presentation.
- All items are to be collected and returned by the borrower.
- All items may not be sub-lent to any third party.
- We ask you to kindly wash and iron borrowed Yukata and Happi before you return them to us.
- If for some reason an item cannot be returned in the condition it was lent, the borrower will be required to pay for a replacement to be purchased and delivered to the Embassy.
