 Mr. Tadahiko YAMAGUCHI, Charge d’Affires ad interim, attended the ceremony for the exchange of the Note Verbale for the project “Criminal Justice Responses to Counter the Misuse of Artificial Intelligence for Terrorism in South Asia” of IIJ funded by Japan on 31 January 2025.
 Mr. YAMAGUCHI hoped that the implementation of the project would enhance the capacity of criminal and judicial experts in Southeast Asia to deal with the misuse of artificial intelligence for terrorism, and that this would in turn enable an appropriate criminal and judicial response to the misuse of artificial intelligence for terrorism in Southeast Asian countries.
