On 28 September, Mr. KOBAYASHI Ryuichiro, Chargé d’Affaires a.i., visited the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) and met with Mr. Kenneth Farrugia, Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Jesmond Gatt, Chairman, and other senior officials of the MFSA.
The meeting provided an opportunity for a substantive and lively exchange of views on concrete ways to strengthen exchanges and cooperation between Japan and Malta in the financial sector, as well as on how bilateral relations could be further developed to contribute to the continued growth and dynamism of the Maltese economy.
All participants reaffirmed that Japan and Malta, which already enjoy excellent relations, are important partners for one another as they seek to achieve further development and prosperity together.
