Meeting between Mr. KOBAYASHI Ryuichiro, Chargé d’Affaires a.i., and Dr. Joseph Filletti, former Judge (7 May)

 On 7^th May, Mr. KOBAYASHI Ryuichiro, Chargé d’Affaires ad interim, met with former Judge Dr. Joseph Filletti at the Casino Maltese in Valletta. Judge Filletti has held numerous distinguished positions, including Judge of the Supreme Courts (the Constitutional Court and the Court of Appeal) and Ambassador of the Permanent Representative of Malta to the Council of Europe, and shared his insights on Malta’s legal system and related matters.
 
 His Majesty the Emperor Hirohito (then Crown Prince) visited the Casino Maltese in 1921, and portraits and items associated with His Majesty are still displayed there today.
