Courtesey Call on Minister Owen Bonnici
On August 4, Chargé d'Affaires ad interim Tadahiko Yamaguchi paid a courtesy call on The Honorable Owen Bonnici, Minister for Culture, Lands and Local Government.
Mr. Yamaguchi explained about the upcoming Iwami Kagura performance in Malta scheduled for September 5 to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Malta, as well as the display of Japanese samurai armor and the armor of the Knights of Malta at the Malta Pavilion of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan.
The two sides acknowledged the steady development of bilateral relations in the cultural field and exchanged views on the potential for further cooperation in this area.
